Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg and brought up in Wellington Paquin has made her acting debut playing Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11 which made her the second-youngest winner in Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander who was just a little girl won the Academy Award in 1993 for the top supporting actress. When she answered an open casting call and was selected for the part, she performed as Flora McGrath, the daughter of a mute Scottish piano player who moves to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to marry. She was only nineteen and did not have any performing experience. In her teens She moved to the United States. Paquin was the main character in Fly Away Home in 1996 and had a minor part as Jane Eyre as just a young child. Paquin played a minor role in the television movie of 1997 remake of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in the film, she portrayed the Spanish queen in a minor role. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as Polexia Aphrodisa girl in Almost Famous (2000).
