Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and TV personality popular as the host on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from an extended family with numerous issues. She spent most her childhood taking care of her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. While growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance, her mother knifed her father when he became too close to Her. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. However her interest lay in comedy. She was chosen as the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992 she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She also has fictional roles in shows like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
