Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as host of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl spent most of her youth caring for her sister Frankie, who had polio. She was in problems with her mother as she was growing up. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he got too close to Her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl became a military officer. But, she was interested in comedy. She became the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV profession in the year 1992, when she became a regular performer in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. In addition, she has played a fictional character in shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
